Cimigo chooses judges for prestigious HK awards

Longstanding free-to-air Hong Kong TV station, TVB runs an annual awards ceremony celebrating the best in TVB programming. The TVB Anniversary awards are prestigious and eagerly awaited each year.

This year Cimigo, Asia’s leading independent market research company, was tasked with the recruitment of the primary judging panel.

The panel comprises creative practitioners, TV advertisement directors, advertiser representatives (Professional Panel) as well as general public (General Public Panel).  These panels will provide scores for each entry, the top 5 highest score entries for each category are then selected and become the finalists who are put to the public vote.

How connected are Vietnamese consumers really?

Richard Burrage presented a snapshot of the digital landscape in Vietnam to members of the American Chamber of Commerce’s ICT committee. Speaking alongside representatives of the tech industry under the banner title of “Where Tech Meets Marketing”, Richard spoke about the explosive growth of online engagement in Vietnam and cited some examples of local success stories alongside the global behemoths like Facebook and Twitter.

Richard noted the extraordinary levels of mobile engagement and pointed out the prevalence of native apps in Vietnam with case studies of Zalo and other homegrown players. Looking ahead, Richard posed questions for the group as to their readiness for the next wave of development and offered some thoughts as to how to prepare.

Cimigo Goes Mobile

Cimigo recently launched its proprietary app for Android and IoS which allows surveys to be conducted over mobile networks and will mean rapid deployment and response times for our partners and a more fun and engaging to be The Voice of the Customer for people taking part in our surveys.

Cimigo recently put the power of mobile into action at the IRB Hong Kong Sevens tournament where in addition to traditional surveys around the ground the crowd were polled by mobile in a fun survey. The results were posted live on the big screen in the ground making the event interactive and fun.
